The Difference
What is the difference between being data-driven when it comes to real estate technology and predicting behaviors through AI as a tool to assist agents in guiding their business?
Let’s look at the definitions. Data-driven programs produce results from data input. Every home that comes up for sale has been manually added to the system, known as the Multiple Listing Service (MLS). Every county in every state has at least one. When you search on any of the popular home search websites or apps, the information you receive is driven from these MLS areas. This system isn’t a system that can learn, i.e. it has no ‘intelligence’.
Intelligence is basically defined as the ability to apply logic and reason to analyze inputs and, ultimately, make decisions. Artificial Intelligence is the same thing done by a machine or a non-living artificial being Just like a human, AI can take audio-visual and data inputs and process them to output desired results.
